The developers of a 39-story residential and retail tower slated for the South Loop have cleared their first city hurdle today after an aldermanic panel approved the proposal, sending it to the full City Council for consideration.
A proposal by the Chicago Park District that will more than double concert pavilion capacity at Northerly Island received the approval of the Chicago Planning Commission today and will now be considered by the City Council.
