Chicago Public Library launches new website

The Chicago Public Library on Thursday unveiled its new-and-improved website, ChiPubLib.org, part of the library’s push to expand its digital offerings.

Library officials designed the new website in collaboration with BiblioCommons. The company provides a library catalog platform to 200 libraries around the world, according to a Mayor’s Office press release.

CPL funded construction of the new website through a $1 million Chicago Public Library Foundation grant.
