Rep. Berrios announces labor group endorsement

As state Rep. Toni Berrios (D-Chicago) seeks a victory in the March 18 primary election, she on Monday announced an endorsement of her attempted reelection as representative of Illinois' 39th District from the Illinois AFL-CIO labor group.

The union, which has 1,500 affiliates in the state, in a letter cited Berrios’s “support of the Illinois AFL-CIO on issues affecting the working men and women” of Illinois as one of the reasons for its endorsement.
