Every analysis of November’s presidential race automatically puts Illinois in the deep blue column, an all-but-counted win for presumptive Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton. But a closer examination of the state’s March primary voter data by political expert Paul Green shows the race could be closer than many prognosticators realize.
“I think she’s got to be the favorite, but I wouldn’t write it off yet,” said Green, director of the Institute for Politics at Roosevelt University, of Clinton’s chances.
