According to a study released today by the University of Chicago Urban Education Lab, Match – Chicago’s math tutoring and mentoring program – has been successful in closing the achievement gap between white and black CPS students,. The study also showed that the Match education program improved the test scores and attendance rates of students who were on the verge of dropping out of school.
