New CTA guidelines cut out political, “adult” advertising

A new advertising policy adopted today by the Chicago Transit Authority bars various types of ads from appearing on CTA property.

The restricted ads include any that carry political, religious or adult-oriented messages, including those supporting public issue campaigns and mature-rated movies, television programs and video games that contain profanity or condone illegal behavior.
