Egg Hunt. No matter what your religion, you can still enjoy Chicagoist's six recommendations for Easter brunch this weekend. the list features local restaurants like The Chicago Firehouse, which is offering an all-day brunch and dinner buffet eveent on Sunday from 9:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. And if you're looking for the perfect cup off coffee, check out Chicago Magazine's recent story about some of the best coffe roasters in the city.

City dramas. NBC recently announced plans to create a spinoff of their show "Chicago Fire," news that inspired Chicago Tribune's RedEye to compile a list of other Chicago-based shows they would like to see make it to their TV screens someday. Highlights include "Chicago Air," an imagined show about the rivalry between traffic controllers from the O'Hare and Midway airports, and "Chicago 311," a show highlighting how dramtic things can get when a city resident is in urgent need of a recylcing bin or a green crosswalk sign.

Farmed in. The nation's largest indoor vertical farm, FarmedHere, located in Chicago suburb Bedford Park, officially opens today. According to the Huffington Post, the farm will be providing about 200 jobs to the community by 2014. Some of those jobs will result from FarmedHere's partnership with Windy City Harvest, an urban agriculture training program led by the Chicago Botanic Gardens that targets underserved local youths.

Zagat's 30 under 30. Popular restaurant guide Zagat came out with a list this week of 30 of Chicago's "hottest up-and-comers" under 30  years old in the 2013 restaurant scene. Chicagoans on this year's list include: Aaron Thebault, the sous-chef at Girl & the Goat; Michael McAvena, the beer director at Publican; and Alexandra Barton, assistant general manager at Spiaggia.
