Quinn appoints new DCFS head

Gov. Pat Quinn on Tuesday announced the appointment of Bobbie M. Gregg as director of the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services.

Gregg has served as interim director of the state family services agency since February, according to a Governor’s Office press release. She will assume the title of acting director as she waits for the Illinois Senate to affirm her appointment.
