State lawmakers pass pension reform bill

State lawmakers on Tuesday passed a 327-page public pension system reform bill that aims to reduce Illinois’ roughly $100 billion liability. 

The Senate voted 30-24-3 in favor of the bill, according to Chicago Sun-Times reporter Dave McKinney.
