Karen Lewis, the opinionated Chicago Teachers’ Union president who might challenge Mayor Rahm Emanuel in next year’s election, made time for some lighthearted Twitter banter Wednesday night.
The Chicago Sun-Times reported Scott Smith – a South Sider who works as a VP at the advertising agency Cramer-Krasselt and previously wrote and edited for Chicagoist, Time Out Chicago and Playboy.com – at about 9:30 p.m. sent out a tweet in which he asked other Twitter users, “Superman vs. Hulk – who wins?”
While Smith stood in Superman’s corner, Lewis sided with the Hulk.
She then went on to summarize both superheroes’ attributes, saying, “Hulk has anger management issues. Superman has abandonment issues. Hulk has guilt and remorse. [Superman] thinks he’s all that.”
Following the exchange that involved a number of other Twitter users, Lewis joked, “Next debate: Star Trek vs. Star Wars.”
